Those who are looking for excitement of downhill day through ever changing scenery, this is the remarkable itinerary. Included some 620 Kms of cycling, with 4000m of ascent and a staggering 10800m of decent, which follows what is unquestionably the greatest of all mountain roads. Setting off on the long ride to Leh, we cross India's main Himalayan ranges by series of 4 passes; Rohtang pass (3990m), the Baralacha La (4995 m), the Lachalung La (5065 m) and the second highest pass the Tanglang La (5280 m), which are snowbound for 7 months a year. We have also included ascent to Khardung La, the highest road pass in the world as part of our cycling programme. This great journey offers exposure to a tremendous variety of landscape and culture, travelling from the lush greenery Kullu-Manali Valley, through the semi-arid plains of Lahul, to the Tibetan - influenced high plateau of Ladakh
