Dudhkunda Trek

This new and unique trek has been designed by Nomad Nepal Trek to provide an insider's look at the high mountains and remote Solu region.

Though less high and famous than the neighboring Khumbu, it is likewise inhabited by the friendly Sherpa people. Solu also receives far less trekking traffic than the Khumbu, making for a more intimate and authentic experience. Dudh Kunda lake is situated at the foot of Numbur Himal, locally known as Shorong Yul Lha, " Protector of Solu ".

From Kathmandu we drive to Jiri and during two days we follow the Jiri - Lukla old route before heading to a completely new route through forested ridges and sparsely inhabited area. From day six, we trek through high pastures, pine and rhododendron forests without permanent settlement. Walking upstream the Beni Khola we reach Dudh Kunda and keep one day for exploring around. Rather than retracing our footsteps in return, we descend towards Khumbu region for ending in Lukla. Next day we fly back to Kathmandu .

Gokyo Everest Trek

Beneath the southern slopes of Sagarmatha ( Mt. Everest ) lies the rugged and remote land of the Sherpas

Incredibly shaped mountains, whose ice-capped summits rise sharply above sheer rock walls, tower above stone their close association with mountaineering history and exploration.

We start our trek from Lukla. This is a fantastic trek, visiting all of the high valleys of the Khumbu with extra time at Gokyo to explore the upper valley. Our camp at Gorkashep provides the opportunity to ascend to kalapatter 5,545m for more spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including the black rocky ramparts of Everest's southwest face. We also have a day to visit Everest base camp at the foot of the immensely impressive Khumbu icefall.

Our return journey takes us to Tengboche monastery, the most important center of Buddhism in the area, before descending to Lukla and fly back to Katmandu the next day.

Mera Amphu Lapsa Trek

This superb trek takes us away from the more frequented trails leading to Everest Base Camp, to over a pass to the east.

Entering this very sparsely inhabited Hunku Valley, we walk northwards through a beautiful high alpine environment, from which Mera Peak (6476 m) the highest trekking peak in Nepal towers over the valley. Traversing around to the north, we find a softer side, and from here it is no technical climb. It can be attempted if you have acclimatized well, with strong lungs and have the view of four of the five highest mountains on earth standing proud over hundreds more, many of which are still unnamed and unclimbed. Thamserku Trekking since its operation in 1988 with its capable crews have enviable records in the numbers of clients who have reached the summit.

After the Mera summit, the trail will follow crossing Mingbo La or Tashi Lapcha down to Everest classic route to Chukung or Pangboche, via Tyangboche Monastery. Next day we trek to Namche and down to Lukla. From here we fly back to Kathmandu the following day.
