Island peak Climbing (Imjatse) is one of the more popular climbing peak of Nepal in Mt. Everest region. 6,189 meters elevation this peak can be climbed during the 12 to 17days. Island Peak is equally technical peak like some of the other trekking peaks in Nepal. The initiation of climbing this peak starts from easy along a rock ridge to a glacier. Very soon you will be steep snow headwall leading to a classic summit ridge. The views from the top are really panoramic and superb including the south face of Lhotse(fourth highest peak in the world) and Ama Dablam(one of the beautiful and more technical mountain in Mt Everest range), several peaks such as Lobuche peak, Thamserku etc. The best season to climb this peak are autumn season (September, October, November) and spring season (March, April, May). When you heading to climb this peak, in the same time you also experiencing the hospitality of Sherpa ethnic groups, alpine temperatures which create you hunger to come again and again…………
